The ledgend of the Manta Ray Mermaid

has always fascinated me. So when this

particular ray suddenly fell into my 

porverbial lap, I decided to let the myth run free- to settle comfortably inside my imagination.... where legends are sometimes born.

Ah, but not her... 

This beautiful water nymph existed long before my family's name had carved its way

into the Florida panhandle.

And she'll be around long after I am gone. I've made sure of that.
